Do I need an appointment?
Yes, appointments are highly recommended. We do accept walk-ins as our schedule allows, however we may not always have an open fitting room. We recommend making an appointment to ensure that we will have a fitting room and a consultant available to give you the best experience possible! Please click here to submit an appointment request.
How many guests can I bring?
Definitely bring a few VIP's whose opinions you trust most, but please don't bring your entire entourage. Too many opinions can be overwhelming, and we want to make sure your voice is heard! In order to provide you and our other brides with the best possible experience, we recommend bringing 2-3 guests with you. Our maximum during a regular appointment is 6. We do not recommend bringing small children, as it can be difficult for them to remain patient and present during appointments. If you are interested in shopping with a large group, we do offer special Champagne Appointments outside of our normal business hours where we can accommodate up to 10 guests.
WHat is your price range?
We carry gowns that are sure to fit any bride's budget! Our special order bridal gowns range in price from around $600-$4000, and average around $1300. Our informal and sale bridal gowns range in price from around $200-$1200, and average around $500. Bridesmaids dresses are priced between $150-$300. If you are looking to stay around a certain price point, just let us know! We will help you find your gown while respecting your budget!

We sell all of our bridal gowns at the minimum price that our designers allow, so you can rest assured that you are always getting your gown at a fantastic price when you choose to shop with us! A few times a year, during exclusive designer events, we can offer a special promotional discount or incentive to our brides. Click here to view our upcoming events. How do your appointments work?
Our bridal appointments are generally 90 minutes long and bridesmaids are 60 minutes. When you arrive, please check in at the front desk and we will help you get started! You will have the opportunity to look through our entire selection of gowns, and we will ask you to select a few favorite styles to begin with. As you try on gowns, your consultant can bring you other suggestions based on what you are liking!
When Should I order?
It is never too early to order your gown! Ordering early means that you don't have to worry about your dress being discontinued, and it allows you to check an important item off your to-do list. We recommend ordering at least 8 months before the wedding for a bridal gown, and at least 5 months beforehand for bridesmaids. Since all dresses are custom orders, they take several months to be created and delivered. You also want to ensure that you have enough time for alterations after the dresses arrive in the store.
Can I bring in champagne?
Unfortunately, we cannot allow alcohol in the store during normal business hours, but we do offer special Champagne Appointments! These special appointments are scheduled outside of normal business hours, and offer a private appointment complete with yummy treats and champagne for the bride and up to 10 guests. What girl wouldn't want to have an entire bridal store to herself?!
Do you sell dresses off the rack?
We have both samples and off-the-rack gowns. The majority of our gowns are samples that we carry just for you to try on. When we order one of those gowns, they generally take several months to arrive, but we are always able to check if we can get something sooner! We also have several sections of our store dedicated to off-the-rack dresses which you can purchase and take home the same day! If you have a close wedding date or are looking for a fantastic deal, we have dozens of gowns to choose from!
Do you have any other locations?
No, we are the only one! Although we carry international brands, we love being a local small business. We do recognize that many bridal groups have members who live out of our area. Never fear! If you have an out of town bridesmaid, our experienced staff would be happy to work with them over the phone to help them place their order.
Do you offer alterations?
Yes. We have a fantastic seamstress available three days a week. You can call our regular store number (616.261.9030) to schedule an appointment with her. Generally we encourage brides to start their alterations at least 8-10 weeks before the wedding, and bridesmaids to start at least 4-6 weeks before the wedding. Please call further in advance to set up your appointment. The cost of alterations will vary depending on the type and complexity of the alteration.
